Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Serang. Ensuring the implementation of health protocols in Hotel and shopping centers area, Directorate of VIP and Important Facility Protection of Banten Regional Police personnels held patrols, Saturday (08/07/2021).
Director of Directorate of VIP and Important Facility Protection of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Edy Sumardi confirmed this.
"We from Directorate of VIP and Important Facility Protection of Banten Regional Police routinely continue to carry out patrols to provide socialization and warnings about the dangers of Covid-19 to community in a humanist manner. For today, we are conducting patrols at Puri Kayana Hotel and Serang Mall shopping center," Director of Directorate of VIP and Important Facility Protection of Banten Regional Police explained.
Directorate of VIP and Important Facility Protection of Banten Regional Police also mentioned it’s form of police presence in implementing Government policy in anticipating the spread of Covid-19 in Banten Regional Police jurisdiction.
"To prevent Covid-19 spread, Directorate of VIP and Important Facility Protection of Banten Regional Police personnels of routinely carry out patrols to give advice to guests and hotel managers and visitors of Serang Mall regarding the implementation of health protocols because currently Covid-19 is still pandemic. And the synergy between the Tourism Sub-Directorate of the Banten Regional Police and management of hotels, shopping centers and tourist attractions is well established," Director of Directorate of VIP and Important Facility Protection of Banten Regional Police said.
In addition, Head of Public Affairs of Banten Regional Police, Police Superintendent Shinto Silitonga added this patrol was form of police presence in community to provide sense of security and comfort.
"In addition to creating safe and conducive public security and order, this patrol also ensures the implementation of health protocols. The goal is to break Covid-19 spread, so this pandemic ends and public can carry out activity as usual," Head of Public Affairss of Banten Regional Police closed.
