Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Directorate of Traffic Security of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police confirmed that the odd-even system from 12-16 August 2021 on eight roads in DKI Jakarta did not apply to two-wheeled vehicles.

"This applies to four wheels and above. For two wheels, this does not apply," explained the Directorate of Traffic Security of Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Police Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo at Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Tuesday (11/08/21)

Police Grand Commissioner Sambodo Purnomo Yogo explained that the policy of regulating odd-even police numbers for four-wheeled vehicles was again implemented to limit mobility.

"The goal is to limit the mobility of odd-even vehicles at 06.00-20.00 WIB to suppress COVID-19 cases," said the Middle Officer of the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police.

In addition to the odd-even regulations, the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police will also implement mobility control with a patrol system in 20 areas and mobility control and a traffic engineering system.

The patrol system will be carried out by looking for crowds to be disbanded, and Operation Justification carried out so that new clusters of COVID-19 do not appear.

The roads that apply the odd-even system are:

1. Sudirman Street,

2. MH Thamrin Street,

3. Medan Merdeka Barat Street,

4. Majapahit Street,

5. Gajah Mada Street,

6. Hayam Wuruk Street,

7. South Big Door Street,

8. Gatot Subroto Street.
