In commemoration of National Santri Day 2021, the Directorate of Security and Intelligence of the South Kalimantan Police carried out a friendly activity with the Founder of the Foundation, Leaders/Managers, Ustadz and the students of the Misbahul Munir Islamic Boarding School on Golf Street, North Landasan Ulin Village, Liang Anggang District, Banjarbaru City, Monday (10/25/21).
In this activity, Unit Chief 2 Sub-Directorate of Country Safety, Pol. Commissioner Mohamat Sukar gave directions regarding the prevention of radicalism, terrorism and intolerance to the students staying at the Islamic boarding school.
In addition, his party also appealed to carry out the Covid-19 vaccination while still adhering to health protocols.
Secretary of the Misbahul Munir Islamic Education Foundation, Ustad Hamidi, thanked the Directorate of Intelligence and Security for the South Kalimantan Regional Police for paying special attention by coming to his Islamic boarding school.
"We are very grateful to the Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the South Kalimantan Regional Police for taking the time to come and pay attention to this Islamic boarding school," he said.
This Islamic boarding school was founded in 1986 and had 811 students.
In the future, we hope that this friendship will end here and continue the future.
"Representing this pesantren, we also hope that none of our students will be exposed to radicalism, especially since they have been provided with provisions by the police," he said.
Regarding the Coronavirus vaccine, currently, his party has started to record students who have not carried out the Covid-19 vaccination by first seeking approval from the parents of each student.
