Mobile Brigade Police Corps sends their drones to detect any isolated refugee camps due to the Cianjur Earthquake. The coordinator of Search and Rescue team of Satlat Mobile Brigade Corps, Commissioner Rantau Isnur Eka, said that special team has been prepared with drones to search and locate any isolated refugee camps. And if the team found those isolated camps, they will immediately report it to the Mobile Brigade post or East Java Police Post Centre.
“We send this small team using helicopters from water and air police. The team is also equipped with drone where they will search any isolated shelters,” said Commissioner Rantau, Saturday (11/26).
He is optimistic that the team would provide a wide range of information regarding their evacuation process, due to their use of helicopters and drones.
According to the data received by Satlat Mobile Brigade corps, from 37 isolated area only three left, in Gede Kadu, Pasir Manggu, and Pasar Tunagan Village. According to him, the team will keep searching for the isolated camps for a week.
“We have prepared a 6-days supplies for this operation,” he said.
Apart from that, he will also seek information about the isolated village both through verbal information from local residents and information circulating in the mass media and social media.
