Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police Visited Binmas Noken Programme in Mulia Village in Mimika Regency

Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Rudi Eko Sudarto, visited Binmas Noken (Noken Community Development Unit) Programme in the House of Welfare for the Nation's Children (Kasuari House) of Mulia Kencana S.P. 7 Village in Iwaka district, Mimika regency on Saturday (12/06/21).

The activity was also attended by Vice Regent of Mimika Regency, Johanis Rettob, and Chief of Mimika Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant I G.G. Era Adhinata.

In his opening statement, the Chief of Mimika Departmental Police addressed that Binmas Noken is a joint program of Timika regional government and Mimika Departmental Police for the welfare of Mimika regency people, specifically native Papuans, by holding a meeting to utilising existing resources to reach the most satisfying results.

In his statement, Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police said that he felt flattered by this moment and how fast this programme runs despite just started the night before. This programme is still under Binmas Noken, and he felt proud and gave respect to the farmers that have advanced the Binmas Noken programme.

"This programme has been running since 2018, and I receive the order to return to Papua. Later, I developed these programmes, and then we name them. This morning, beyond my expectation, the programme would be directly executed", Police Brigadier General Rudi Eko Sudarto said.

The one-star general said that the people here already have a great leader. Regent and vice-regent are the figures who pay attention to the community. With the support of the Regional Government and Chief of the Departmental Police, this programme would be smoothly run. There will be many Kasuari Houses built to benefit the people in the Mimika regency.

"My friends are all related parties and stakeholders to success this Binmas Noken. I may not run this programme if I gather no support. According to Article 34 of Presidential Instruction No. 9 of 2020, the President appointed Chief of National Police to advance welfare, education, and preserve nature for tourism awareness", Police Brigadier General Rudi Eko Sudarto said.
