Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police Inspected Vaccination Booths in Sentani City

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Sentani.Deputy Chief of Papua Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Eko Rudi Sudarto, along with Chief of Jayapura Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Fredrickus W A Maclarimboen, inspected vaccination booths in Sentani City Sectoral Police to support government programme in Covid-19 handling.

The vaccination booth was established by Sentani City Sectoral Police, in cooperation with Polyclinic of Jayapura Departmental Police, and in accordance with the theme of 75th Bhayangkara Day, which is "Transformation of Presisi National Police to Support Covid-19 Handling Acceleration for Healthy People and National Economic Recovery Towards Advanced Indonesia".

Chief of Jayapura Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Fredrickus W A Maclarimboen, said that these vaccination outlets are for supporting the government's programme in Covid-19 handling.

"This vaccination service was started on July 6 and open every Monday to Friday, from 09.00 to 12.00 local time", Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Fredrickus W A Maclarimboen said.

The vaccination event is a continuation of a similar event conducted on June 26, 2021.

"At that time, 210 people have been vaccinated. But due to the lack of vaccinated people, we open this vaccination outlet to serve unvaccinated people or people vaccinated once. We vaccinated 50 people today", Chief of Jayapura Departmental Police said.

The implementation is regulated by vaccination officers from the Jayapura Departmental Police Polyclinic, starting from regulating queues, registration, screening, vaccination, and post-vaccination observation.

"Deputy Chief of Regional Police visited to inspect activities on this vaccination outlet. We also encourage people to make this vaccination programme to accelerate Covid-19 handling a success", the Chief of Jayapura Departmental Police concluded.
