Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan stated that Densus 88 arrested the terrorist suspects mostly in Central Java (10 people), followed by Lampung (7 people).
The next is North Sumatra (6 people), Banten (4 people), Jambi (3 people), West Java (2 people), East Kalimantan (2 people), South Sulawesi (1 person), Maluku (1 person), and West Kalimantan (1 people).
Chief of General Information Agency of PR and Press Division of National Police stated that most of the terrorist suspects, 35 to be exact, are suspiciously affiliated to Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) network. Meanwhile, another two suspects from East Kalimantan are suspected not from JI. Ramadhan said that they joined the group through social media. "Two people from the social media group are from East Kalimantan", Police Grand Commissioner Ahmad Ramadhan concluded.
