Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Fadil Imran instructed his staff at National Police and Police station to optimize three steps, namely the Implementation of Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia (PPKM), judicial operations and optimisation of the vaccination program.
The Regional Police Chief hopes that with the implementation of these three steps, Jakarta Metropolitan Region could get out of the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
"I have given instruction to the Sector Chief of Police from the ranks, how to optimise and intervene at the community base using Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia, how to carry out judicial operations at points with a high confirmation rate combined with vaccination programs," he explained.
As for vaccination, each police station has its own point to vaccinate. The North Jakarta Police Station has ten points. Then each Resort Metropolitan Police vaccinated with a number of doses varying from 100 to 200 doses.
The Regional Police Chief appealed to the people of Jakarta Metropolitan Region to stay at home on weekends.
The Regional Police Chief also requested that the National Police Chief whose territory is in the orange zone to carry out surveillance and tightening, not to wait for it to become a red zone. If there are still people who stubbornly continue to congregate, added Fadil, they must be disbanded.
"Hopefully, the combination of Micro Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities in Indonesia, judicial operations and vaccination can break the chain of controlling the spread of Covid-19. Starting from yesterday, the orange zone has been intervened to limit community activities," he concluded.
