Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs who is also the Head of the National Police Commission (Kompolnas) said that the Police had made various service innovations to the community such as Electronic Ticketing (ETLE), making online SIM (SINAR), Public Complaints of Predictive, Responsibility, Transparency Fair (Dumas Presisi), Notification of Progress of Investigation Results online (SP2HP), call center 110 and so on.
"The service innovation is in line with the challenges in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era so that it makes people feel served quickly, transparently, accountable, effective and efficient," said Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Friday (20/08/2021).
In particular, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs appreciated the General Supervision Inspector of the Indonesian National Police as the Indonesian National Police's internal supervisor who made an online internal control system innovation, namely Dumas Presisi.
“This is very helpful for the Head of the National Police Commission as the external supervisor of the Indonesian National Police because everything is done online. Therefore, the synergy between the internal and external inspectors of the Indonesian National Police is needed so that the Indonesian National Police are professional and independent," explained the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.
The Chief Daily of Head of the National Police Commission Benny Mamoto reported that several reforms and improvements were being carried out by the Police, especially in the IT sector and improving the reporting flow.
“In the future, there will be no more picket commissioners. In the future, the model is for commissioners to receive reports in plenary form to decide on directions and so on.”
On the other hand, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs considered the pandemic a challenge that the Police had to face.
Including new challenges as a social, economic impact, disruption of security and public order.
“We face limitations in the areas of budget, mobility, and access in conducting field research. However, these challenges and limitations will make us more innovative and creative to overcome them,” concluded the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs.
