Tribratanews.polri.go.id – Surabaya. The E-Dumas Presisi (Presisi Electronic Public Complaints) is an application launched by Indonesian National Police in response to this superfast digital era where people could report community security and order and Police directly through Android devices.
Since its launch, 125 people have filed reports and complaints. By now, 121 cases have been followed up, and four are in the investigation. From the followed-up cases, four of them are cancelled.
"E-Dumas eases the public in reporting events related to public security and order and Police personnel and their performances. An application could be an effective medium, and the public could know on how far their report is being processed", Chief of PR and Press Agency of East Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Gatot Repli Handoko, sad on Friday (3/9/2021).
The campaigning effort of E-Dumas Presisi is still being sounded through social media and the websites of East Java Regional Police. The Police are optimistic that the application would be received well by the public. People could download it through Play Store on their Android smartphones.
This Presisi (Predictive, Responsible, Transparent, Just) Public Compaints apps is founded to realise transparency and complaint handling for the public.
