Deputy Chief of Indonesia National Police, Police Commissioner General Gatot Eddy Pramono, accompanied by Inspectorate General Supervision of Indonesia National Police, Police Commissioner General Agung Budi Maryoto, Head of Community Guidance and Development of Security Maintenance Agency of Indonesia National Police, Police Inspector General Suwondo Nainggolan, Head of Public Information Bureau of Public Affairs of Indonesia National Police, Police Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, Head of Study and Strategy Bureau of Logistic Staf of Indonesia National Police, (Karo Jianstra Slog), Brigadier General Budi Siswanto and their entourage made working visit to Riau on Tuesday (08/10/2021).
Arriving at Pekanbaru's Suyan Syarif Kasim II airport, Deputy Chief of Indonesia National Police was greeted by Chief of Riau Regional Police, Police Inspector General Agung Setia Imam Effendi along with Riau Governor Syamsuar as well as High Rank Officers of Riau Regional Police.
Head of Public Affairs of Riau Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Narto said during his working visit in Riau, Deputy Chief of Indonesia Natiinal Police will monitor several locations to provide assistance in the implementation of Covid-19 handling in Riau, especially in Pekanbaru City.
"His agenda includes visiting the PPKM (Community Activity Restriction) Command Post in Umban Sari Rumbai, then will monitor the implementation of vaccines there as well as provide social assistance to community, then will go to the Unilak campus to monitor the implementation of vaccines for students and the academic community there as well as provide social assistance. After that, they will go to the Vaccine Center with the same agenda as well as monitor Hajj Dormitory as place for independent self-isolation of Covid-19 patients. Deputy Chief of Indonesia National Police will provide social assistance of 1,300 packages of nine-basic-needs plus 300 supplement packages and fruit for patients,” Police Grand Commissioner Narto explained.
"After that, he will go to Riau Regional Police Headquarter to give directions to High Rank Officers of Riau Regional Police and Chiefs of Resort Police who will join virtually," Head of Public Affairs of Riau Regional Police.
