Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Tangerang. This week, the National Police Headquarters and Gema Mathla'ul Anwar Central Board completed the second phase of the vaccination campaign in Tangerang City and Bogor Regency. "Recipients of the second vaccination reached 3,800 people," explained General Chairperson of GEMA Mathla'ul Anwar Central Board, Ahmad Nawawi.

With this figure, the total number of vaccinations for the 1st and second stages distributed to the public by the National Police through the Gema Mathla'ul Anwar Central Board reached 8,000 people. "Our debt to the community for holding the second vaccination has been paid off," he added.

According to the General Chairperson of GEMA Mathla'ul Anwar Central Board, the first vaccination was held at the end of last August. Meanwhile, the second vaccination at the same point was held at Public Post Secondary School (SMAN) 2 Tangerang City (09/25), MA (Islamic Post Secondary School) Barengkok College, Rumpin, Bogor (09/27), and MA Jatiuwung College, Tangerang (10/02).

"The mass vaccination carried out by the Supreme Court involved doctors and health workers from the police, the Indonesian Midwives Association (IBI), and local health centres. "This collaboration accelerates the government's target for areas that lack vaccine doses and supporting health workers," he explained.

"Of the total vaccines distributed, 50% are residents of Mathla'ul Anwar who are students and the general public who are parents and guardians and the surrounding community. "The Supreme Court's contribution proves that Muslims also take part in promoting vaccination to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic," he concluded.

The program also makes MA students ready to carry out face-to-face meetings on a limited basis. "Teachers and students are more confident in learning face-to-face after vaccination," he explained.

Meanwhile, Greater Jakarta Metro. Regional Police's Directorate of Community Guidance and Development, Pol. Grand Commissioner Badya Wijaya said that the acceleration of vaccination carried out by the National Police Headquarters complements the regular vaccinations held at Community Health Centers.

"After the acceleration of vaccination, we carried out an agglomeration program at critical points that lack vaccines," explained the Directorate of Community Guidance and Development when reviewing the second vaccination at SMAN 2 Tangerang City.
