Community Police Officer Supports Fresh Fish Cultivation

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Serui. Community Police Officer Warari Village of Yapen Islands Resort Police, Brigadier Ricky Rumere carried out Noken community development activity in Kasuari (Welfare for State Children) program by visiting people who cultivate freshwater fish.
They provided assistance about fish care and deliver fish feed assistance. It is manifestation of the attention and support from Indonesia National Police through Community Police Officer especially on Noken community development program.
"We (Community Police Officer) will continue to support the cultivation of freshwater fish to help community's economic growth, especially during the current Covid-19 pandemic," Police Sergeant Major Ricky Rumere said.
Meanwhile, Head of Village, Delopes Menanti mentioned the presence of Community Police Officer really provided benefits to gain knowledge on fish farming so they could develop their skill.
"I am very happy to be able to get more knowledge about the care of freshwater fish that was mentione by Community Police Officer. Thank you also for the fish feed provided," he said.
Freshwater fish that are kept with various types of fish, have been widely marketed, both in several areas in Yapen to Waropen Regency. (HPY)
