The Traffic Corps (Korlantas) of the National Police carried out social services by providing 2,000 food packages to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Cakung area, East Jakarta. The activity was carried out by Korlantas as a form of commemorating the 76th Indonesian Independence Day.
Chief Traffic Corps (Kakorlantas) of the National Police, Pol. Inspector General Istiono, said that on August 17, 2021, his party held a social service with the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association and the Indonesian SME Coordinator, who had been helping SMEs in the Cakung area.
“On this occasion, we distributed 2,000 basic necessities to MSME friends. Hopefully this is all useful and MSMEs will continue to exist, be nurtured, and pay attention so that the economy can continue to rise," explained the National Police Chief of Traffic Corps, Tuesday (08/17/2021).
The two-star general said that current health must be maintained. Especially health protocols must still be observed, at least using the most important masks and fixed prices.
“Earlier I also asked the head of the Neighbourhood, whether they have been vaccinated here and it turns out that 85 percent of them have been vaccinated. Hopefully Indonesia can recover from COVID-19 soon and this is a joint step that needs to be done, such as social services, for masks, and so on, "explained the National Police Headquarter.
Meanwhile, General Chairperson of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association, Anto Jangkar said that his presence here in synergy with the National Police Chief of Traffic Corps indicate that the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association cares and supports every MSME activity.
"Therefore, we are here to support our brothers and sisters affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Keep your health and continue to wear masks," explained the General Chairperson of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association.
Coordinator of Indonesian SMEs, Dietje W. Mawuntu said, thank you for the presence of the National Police Headquarter and others. He hopes that SMEs can be economically independent in the future, could rise up to maintain their small businesses, and can revive their families.
"We both help MSMEs so that they can continue to advance, we continue to accompany them until now. Hopefully COVID-19 will pass quickly and Indonesian SMEs can progress and develop for Indonesia," explained the Indonesian SME Coordinator.
