Commemorating Santri Day of 2021, Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police Attended the Dhikr Together Event Virtually

Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, accompanied by the Chief of PR and Press Agency, Police Grand Commissioner Eko Saputro, attended the Dhikr and Praying Together in commemorating Santri Day of 2021 virtually in the Office of Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police on Tuesday night (28/09/2021).

The event was also attended by Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan, H Edy Pratowo, Head of Regional Office of Central Kalimantan, H Moor Fahmi, Ustaz, and santri.

In his opening statement, the Chief of the Regional Office of Central Kalimantan thanked for the presence of the invitees for the event and wished the presence of the participants was recorded as charity.

"Tonight, we held the Dhikr and Praying Together in commemorating Santri Day of 2021 of Central Kalimantan province, themed 'Body-and-Soul Ready Santri'", Head of Regional Office of Central Kalimantan said.

Head of Regional Office of Central Kalimantan wished that the Dhikr Central Kalimantan could result at the end of the Covid-19 pandemic, and people could return to normality.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police stated that this event was held as a statement of Indonesian santri to be ready body and soul to maintain the unity of Indonesia.

"The important role of the santri to love this country is not far from the role of the Kyai who has provided beneficial learning to distance them from the radicalism group thoughts", Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police said.

Furthermore, the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police added that by giving the proper exemplary education, he believed that santri could provide a comprehensive and interdisciplinary perspective.

"I hope the santri and the public elements could involve in fighting the Covid-19 pandemic by becoming the pioneer of the discipline of Health Protocols", he concluded.
