Commemorating 66th Traffic Police Corps Anniversary, Directorate of Traffic of Central Kalimantan Regional Police Held Social Service for the Public.

In commemoration of the 66th anniversary of the Traffic Police Corps (Polantas), the Directorate of Traffic of Central Kalimantan Regional Police held a social service event and basic necessities distribution for people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and flood on Thursday (23/9/21).

Director of Traffic of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Rifki, said that during this social service event, Police distributed 250 basic necessities packages to the orphanages and slums.

Besides that, Police also distributed 500 rice boxes to flood victims and drivers trapped by the flood in the Penda Barania village of Pulang Pisau. They also held a blood donation event in the Directorate of Traffic Office and managed to gather 87 blood bags.

"We also conducted a blood donation in Directorate of Traffic of Central Kalimantan Regional Police Office. Thank God, we managed to collect 87 blood bags and also vaccinated 1,000 doses to people", Director of Traffic of Central Kalimantan Regional Police.

The social service event in commemorating Polantas anniversary are also conducted by the Traffic Corps Unit of each Departmental Police in fourteen regencies and cities. The aid targets people in need, either affected by Covid-19 or flood in several regions.

Through these activities, Rifki continued, Police never forget to campaigns the importance of Health Protocols enforcement in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic and the orderly driving. Directorate of Traffic of Central Kalimantan Regional Police is trying their best effort to materialise safety, security, order, and smoothness of traffic in areas under the jurisdiction of Central Kalimantan Regional Police and minimalise Covid-19 transmission.

"Please remember to always be orderly in driving. Orderly driving is the reflection of national culture. Also, never been lax in Health Protocols enforcement by keep wearing face masks and keeping distance", he concluded.
