Semarang - The Police Academy 1992 Alumni, the Pratisara Wirya Battalion, held a social service event for residents in the Lamper subdistrict of Semarang city on Monday (30/8/2021). The event, titled "Caring and Sharing for the Nation", is directed to poor people, people with disabilities, and people affected by Covid-19.
The social service event was attended by Deputy Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Abiyoso Seno Aji; Chief of Planning and Budgeting Bureau of Central Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Handoyo; Director of General Criminal Investigation of Central Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner L Martian; and other Primary Officials.
The social service event was held to commemorate 29 years of service of the Police Academy 1992 Alumni, the Pratisara Wirya Battalion, and commenced across 34 provinces in Indonesia.
"August of 2021 coincides with our 29 years of the service of the Police Academy 1992 Alumni, the Pratisara Wirya Battalion", Deputy Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Abiyoso Seno Aji said during a press release.
"So we have served this institution for 29 years, and we are still being given time and opportunities for the following years to continue our services", he continued.
There are 50 basic necessities packages distributed to residents of Lamper subdistrict of Semarang city, consisting of rice, cooking oil, sugar, tea, and instant noodles. To prevent crowds, the package's distribution was conducted door-to-door straight to the houses.
Not only in the Lamper district but the social service event was also given for the representative of Sangkeng Sejiwa Foundation, Mrs Yuktiasih Proborini.
"Thank you, the gentlemen of Police Academy 1992 Alumni, Mr Chief of Great City Departmental Police and your personnel", Rini said.
"In the future, we are hoping for another cooperation", Rini continued.
Previously, a similar activity was held on August 1 and is being held again today (30/8). Deputy Chief of Central Java Regional Police hoped that similar events could always be held.
"God willing, these kinds of events do not stop today. We hope in the next months and years we keep doing these events", he concludes.
