Commander of the Armed Forces and Chief of Police Inspected Covid-19 Integrated Isolation Facility (Isoter) in Sudiang Hajj Hostel Makassar

Tribratanews.polri.go.id. Commander of the Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, inspected Covid-19 Integrated Isolation Facility (Isoter) in Sudiang Hajj Hostel Makassar on Saturday (7/8).
They were accompanied by Acting Governor of South Sulawesi, Andi Sudirman Sulaiman, Commanders of Primary Military Command, Mayor of Makassar, Deputy Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police, and Regents of Gowa and Maros.
During a teleconference with patients at the Isoter, both Commander of the Armed Forces and Chief of Police appealed all isolating Covid-19 patients at the Sudiang Hajj Hostel to deliver the message through WhatsApp or SMS, should anyone from their family shows Covid-19 symptoms so that they could be sent to the nearest Isoter to conduct antigen or PCR swab test.
"Tell the public that this Isoter is crucial for people exposed by Covid-19, for the sake of the public and our family's safety", the Chief of Police said during the conversation with Isoter's patients.
During a virtual dialogue with the isolating Covid-19 patients, the Commander of the Armed Forces asked all the Covid-19 patients about medicines and food supply during isolation. Simultaneously, all patients answered that medicine and food distribution is received routinely and adequately.
In their visit, the Commander of the Armed Forces and Chief of Police prayed all isolating patients to be recovered soon. "I wish the isolating ladies and gentlemen a speedy recovery and return to normalcy", he said.
At the end of the visit, the Commander of the Armed Forces and Chief of Police inspected the isolation inpatient ward in the Sudiang Hajj Hostel Makassar.
As information, Sudiang Hajj Hostel Makassar is treating 110 people who tested positive for Covid-19. Meanwhile, the building has a capacity of 1,500 beds. Those who are being treated are asymptomatic and mild symptoms patients. The Isoter provide nutritious food and is periodically observed by the doctors. People who want to get the isolation service must show their PCR or antigen test results from a local laboratory or hospital.
