Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces Together with Head of Security Maintenance Agency of Indonesia National Police Monitored Three Health Centers in East Java

Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto together with Head of Security Maintenance Agency of Indonesia National Police, Police Commissioner General Arief Sulistyanto monitored three community health centers in East Java, Sunday (08/01/21).

The three community health centers monitored were Gayaman Mojokerto Community Health Center, Sukomoro Nganjuk Community Health Center and Balerejo Madiun Community Health Center.

Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces and Head of Security Maintenance Agency of Indonesia National Police directly ensured the implementation of 3T –testing, tracing and treatment, as well as the implementation of Silacak application and inaRISK application by Indonesia National Armed Forces and Indonesia National Police to handle Covid-19 in East Java.

During the monitoring, East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Chief of East Java Regional Police, Inspector General Nico Afinta and Commander in Chief V/Brawijaya Military Area Command, Major General Suharyanto.

The visit was to monitor team of health workers and NCO Law Enforcement and Community Police Officer in handling Covid-19 patients in their respective areas.

For the information, ratio of positive cases was obtained by comparing findings on Covid-19 positive from the number of people examined. The World Health Organization (WHO) has set safe limit, the ratio of positive cases of Covid-19 is no more than five percent. This means pandemic situation is relatively under control if out of 100 people examined, only 5 positive cases of Covid-19 are found.

While in Mojokerto, Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces appreciated performance of health workers’ team, Mojokerto NCO Law Enforcement and Community Police Officer who always collaborated in handling Covid-19 cases. In addition, currently in Mojokerto the ratio of positive cases of Covid-19 is only 1 in 29.

"The ratio is 1 to 29, it has entered the WHO standard," Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces said.

In addition, Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces also monitored capabilities of NCO Law Enforcement and Community Police Officer members in operating the Tracking Information System (SiLacak) and inaRISK applications. The coordination of four pillars was also tested, how to treat Covid-19 patients.

Coordination is carried out by telephone communication between NCO Law Enforcement and Community Police Officer to Covid-19 patients who are self-isolating. This is to monitor the progress of patient’s health on regular basis. The same thing was also done in each of Community Health Center, which was visited by Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces together with Head of Security Maintenance Agency of Indonesia National Police.
