Collaborating with Youth,Banten Regional Police Distribute Food Packages to Communities Affected by the Covid-19 Pandemic

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Serang. The Banten Regional Police collaborated with the Indonesian Youth National Committee (KNPI) to distribute thousands of food packages to communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Banten Province, Wednesday (07/28/2021).

Banten Regional Police Chief, Pol. Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto Adi Nugroho, through the Directorate of Community Development of the Banten Regional Police, Pol. Commissioner Riki Yanuardi said that the Banten Regional Police together with friends from Indonesian Youth National Committee distributed 1,000 food packages to the community. Where this activity is a form of concern for the Police, especially the Banten Regional Police for our brothers and sisters affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

"We deliberately involve young people like Indonesian Youth National Committee, because they are all young people who will become the nation's successors. So from now on we have to involve them, because this baton will be passed on to them. In fact, we have also collaborated with youth organisations and student organizations in Banten Province, such as KAMMI Banten, Indonesian Christian Student Movement (GMKI), HMI, PMII and others to distribute these basic food packages to people in need," added Directorate of Community Development at Banten Regional Police.

"With the assistance of this basic food package, we hope that it will be useful for all Banten people during the Covid-19 pandemic. For this reason, I hope that the community will always continue to strictly implement the health protocols, starting diligently washing hands, maintaining distance, wearing masks and praying regularly. together, hopefully the Covid-19 Pandemic can end soon," concluded the Banten Regional Police, Directorate of Community Development.
