Hundreds of people have been queuing since this morning to participate in the Covid-19 vaccination at the location.
Chief Deputy of West Sumatra Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Edi Mardianto and other officials reviewed the implementation of vaccinations at SPR while handing over food packages to the community.
The Director for Security of Vital Objects (Dirpamobvit) of the West Sumatra Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Ardian Indra Nurinta said that his party held a mass vaccination to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19. This vaccination is a government program to deal with Covid-19.
"One way to solve the problem of this Covid-19 pandemic is by vaccination. So the Indonesian National Police is promoting precision vaccinations," said the Director for Security of Vital Objects (Dirpamobvit) of the West Sumatra Regional Police.
This One Star General said, during the implementation, the West Sumatra Regional Police also collaborated with several communities including Artha Graha Peduli, Sentra Pasar Raya (SPR), Graha Buana Propertindo, Market Traders Community, Association of Indonesian Gold and Jewel Traders, and urban transportation (angkot) communities.
"To deal with this pandemic, we must work together, cooperate and synergize to help each other," he said.
He said, in the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination, his party was targeting a thousand people to be vaccinated. "The targets for vaccination are traders, the community and urban transportation (angkot) drivers," he concluded.
In addition to holding mass vaccinations, there were also 1,000 basic food packages provided by Artha Graha Peduli.
