Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General Teddy Minahasa, together with the Governor of West Sumatra, Mahyeldi Ansharullah, and Regional Leadership Communication Forum opened and inaugurated the West Sumatra Vaccine Awareness Mass Vaccination Festival (Sumdarsin) at the H Agus Salim Sports Centre Stadium, Padang, Saturday (30/10).
The West Sumatra Vaccine Awareness activity was carried out simultaneously, with 20 outlets spread across regencies and cities in West Sumatra Province. In his remarks, the Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police expressed his appreciation to all parties who supported the vaccination program in West Sumatra.
"I express my highest gratitude and appreciation to Regional Leadership Communication Forum for their participation and support for the achievement of vaccination in West Sumatra," said the Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police at the H Agus Salim Sports Centre Stadium, Padang.
The Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police said that the people of West Sumatra were very polite and religious and welcomed all the programs launched by the central government.
"The problem of lagging vaccination is a technical matter, and we can answer it that today we have achieved an extraordinary achievement of rising five levels, God willing, until the end of November we (West Sumatra Province) can be in the top ten, and until December God willing we two big. So this is our optimism,” said the Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police.
The Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police also advised the entire community that the Sumdarsin event was also held in all Regencies and Cities in West Sumatra Province. "The projection that I calculated today could reach 143,000 vaccinations," he said.
The Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police hopes that with the support of all parties, the vaccination rate will increase escalally.

Furthermore, the activity continued with awarding certificates of appreciation to the vaccinators from the West Sumatra Regional Police, Indonesian National Armed Forces, Central General Hospital M. Djamil Padang, Andalas University Hospital.
