Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Padang. West Sumatra Regional Police held technical work meeting (rakernis) of public affairs function for the 2021 fiscal year. Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police, Police Inspector General Toni Harmanto, open and lead the activity.
In this activity, Chief of West Sumatra Regional Police was accompanied by Deputy Chief of West Sumatera Regional Police Brigadier General Edi Mardianto, and High Rank Officers of West Sumatera Regional Police Chief, working group participants –Head of Subsection, Head of Affairs and Resort Police Public Affairs operators.
In his remarks, Chief of West Sumatera Regional Police asked the public affairs team in the region to be enthusiastic in carrying out their duties by always providing information to the public about police activities.
"I ask public affairs of Resort Police to focuss on positive news. So that public will know," Chief of West Sumatera Regional Police explained.
He advised, in doing their duty, they neerf to understand well the main tasks of Indonesia National Police, by being professional and proportionate so police public affairs role can be maximum.
"This technical work meeting activity is used as means to exchange information and how to act in dealing with various tasks related to Indonesia National Police Public Affairs function in managing more professional media management in the future," Chief of West Sumatera Regional Police explained.
The two-star general also gave appreciation in the form of certificates of appreciation to Resort Police, which is active in public relations activities, such as Bukittinggi Resort Police, Solok City Resort Police and South Pasaman Resort Police, and West Pasaman Resort Police.
