Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police Distributed Social Assistance to People Who Are Self-Isolated

Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Inspector General Eko Indra Heri S, together with Director of General Crimes of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Hisar Siallagan, Deputy Director of Community Guidance and Development, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Azzam Himawan, Committee of Retired Union (PP) of South Sumatera Regional Police Indonesia National Police, retired Police Grand Commissioner Darmadi distributed aids to people who are undergoing self-isolation due to Covid-19, Wednesday (07/28/21) at Slum area of Talang Betutu Sub-District, Sukarame District, Palembang.

"We did door to door by handing over to several people who are doing self-isolation in the Slum area, Sukarame District, Talang Betutu Sub-District," Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police, Police Inspector General Eko Indra Heri S said. He was accompanied by High-Rank Officers of South Sumatra Regional Police, Chief of Sukarame City Resort Police, Police Commissioner Budi, NCO Law Enforcement Officer, Community Police Officers of Sukarame Palembang Region.

On the occasion, Chief of South Sumatera Regional Police together with the Committee of Retired Union (PP) of South Sumatera Regional Police, retired Police Grand Commissioner Darmadi distributed packages of nine-basic-needs to the community in Slum Area, Talang Betutu sub-district, Sukarame District, Palembang.

"We want to ensure that this assistance is received directly by the people affected by the Covid-19 pandemic so this assistance is right on target," Chief of South Sumatera Regional said.

He also ensured his party together with Indonesian National Armed Forces, Regional Government would continue to distribute aids to the Districts/Sub-Districts in South Sumatra.

"We hope the assistance we provide will be useful, and the community will continue to carry out health protocols strictly, starting to wash their hands, keep the distance, wear masks and we pray Covid-19 pandemic will soon disappear from the Earth,” he said.
