Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Inspector General Merdisyam directly monitored 10,000 vaccination program for Makassar people which was jointly held by IDI (Indonesian Medical Doctor Association) Makassar, Fajar Group, Kalla Group and Southeast Sulawesi Regional Police, Thursday (07/29/2021) at Ratu Indah Mall, DR. Ratulangi Street Makassar city.
10,000 vaccination program was carried out at 4 points at once, at Ratu Indah Mall, NIPAH, Al Markaz Mosque, and IDI Building Makassar. The vaccination was conducted for two days, July 28-29 2021,
On the occasion, the Two Star General stated the challenge in implementing National Vaccination Program is the massive amount of misleading information related to vaccination. It’s an obstacle in meeting vaccination targets.
Therefore, Indonesia National Armed Forces and Indonesia National Police continue to support the efforts of all elements of society in encouraging this vaccination program to run according to the target in South Sulawesi.
"Please tell and disseminate widely to community that after being vaccinated, they still need to continue applying health protocols in their daily lives," Chief of South Sulawesi Regional Police explained.
Meanwhile, Head of Public Affairs of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner E. Zulpan said Covid-19 mass vaccination activity was carried out in order to support the vaccination of one million people a day, to support the acceleration of handling Covid-19, for healthy community and national economic recovery towards advanced Indonesia.
