Chief of North Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Bambang Kristiyono, and the Comamnder of VI/Mulawarman Military Region, Armed Forces Major General Teguh Pudjo Rumekso, accompanied North Kalimantan Governor, Zainal Arifin Paliwang, to welcome the arrival of Indonesian President, Joko Widodo, at the apron of Anang Busra airport on Tuesday (21/12/2021).
The event was also attended by the Head of North Kalimantan legislative assembly, the Primary Officials of North Kalimantan Regional Police, and Commander of the 092/Maharajalila Military Regiment.
The aim of President Joko Widodo's visit to North Kalimantan province is to conduct work visits such as distributing land certificates and attending the KIPI groundbreaking at the Tanah Kuning, Bulungan regency.
Chief of North Kalimantan Regional Police said that to materialise situation and condition security in the field, Police have deployed Armed Forces-Police personnel at the main activity locations. The joint forces have been prepared to secure President Joko Widodo during the work visit at North Kalimantan province.
Besides, the Commander of VI/Mulawarman Military Region also added that, as the Operation Commander of VVIP Security, the Armed Forces also optimised location security of the work visit and all President's activities in North Kalimantan. Armed Forces are working with the North Kalimantan Regional Police and government institutions and optimally provide comfort during the President's work visit in North Kalimantan until the return to Jakarta.
