Chief Of Papua Regional Police Led Opening Ceremony Of The Training Course Of The 2021

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Jayapura. On Monday, July 26, 2021, in the field of State Police School (SPN) of Papua Regional Police, the opening ceremony of the Training Course of 2021 Class of National Police Non-commissioner Officer (NCO) was underway.
The event was led by Chief of Papua Regional Police, Police Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, and attended by Regional Superintendent of Papua Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Alfred Papare, Primary Officials of Papua Regional Police, and invited guests.
Chief of Education and Training Institute of Indonesian National Police, in his statement read by Chief of Papua Regional Police, Police Inspector General Mathius D. Fakhiri, stated the specificity during the National Police NCO Training Course of 2021, which are:
1. The education would be run in the Covid-19 pandemic situation, which through face-to-face medium and obeying tight Health Protocols and adequate campus facilities and avoiding Covid-19 transmission. The non-campus education is conducted to fulfil the expected NCO competency.
2. The Traning Course this year uses the Presisi curriculum. Through strengthening literacy of humanity, data, and technology, it is expected to give an extra value to the resource ability of Police that are more superior, creative, and innovative. Because, in essence, Police human resources is the Police's main tool and strength.
3. The course this year would be run along with regular education paid by National Revenue Budget and grants from Regional Revenue Budget. There are 10,650 regular educator certificates and 4,636 educator certificates from grants from Papua, West Papua, South Kalimantan, South Sumatra, Bangka Belitung Islands, and East Java provinces. Therefore, there would be 15,286 educator certificates, consist of 14,609 males and 677 females, which would be run for the next five months. The training would be conducted by 36 Police Education Units consist of 31 State Police Schools, Woman Police School, and Education Centres of Mobile Brigade, Quick Response Unit, Community Development Unit, and Water Police. The regular and grant students would be educated and trained together, in which they are spread across 31 Education Units fitted to the campus' capacity.
In the instruction, Inspector General Mathius also addressed eight priority programs of the Police education transformation, which are:
1. Creating a healthy and Health Protocols-ready campus and healthy campus health facilities and personnel
2. Creating a safe and maximum security campus with prime protection and strong security to create prevention and vibration effect
3. Creating campus as the centre of excellence: campus as the centre of referral and science, reference of green, clean, and beautiful campus, reference of Police culture and tradition
4. Making campus a place of favourites and achievements. Campus supported by the Career Education standing on educators and filled with outstanding personnel to be promoted.
5. Building campus with the latest curriculum and answering task's challenges
6. Building campus with strong structure
7. Building a nationality campus and conducting integrated education of Armed Forces and Police on all education types and levels.
