Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police said that if people are open, the tracing carried out would be maximal, so the spread could be anticipated.
Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police also asked public to be more disciplined in complying with Covid-19 prevention health protocols. In addition, people must also participate in vaccinations and assist officers in the implementation of 3T (testing, tracing and treatment).
Meanwhile, North Sulawesi Regional Police currently has 1,193 personnels of Covid-19 tracer in the field. These personnels consist of 483 community police officer, 300 general duty police officers and 410 youth non-commissioned officers.
"For Youth NCOs who become tracer staff, they will be deployed to the 5 police areas with the highest spread of Covid-19, Manado City Resort Police, Minut Resort Police, Bitung Resort Police, Minahasa Resort Police and Tomohon Resort Police," Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police mentioned.
Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police said the personnels had received training on how to carry out tracing, interview techniques, how to fill out forms and use the Silacak application provided by Coaching Team from North Sulawesi Provincial Health Agency.
“People must be opened and not afraid. Help officers in the field. I hope for openness from people so tracing officers are easier and able to track the spread of Covid-19. Let's take care of each other, because this is for the health of all of us. I hope this activity can be carried out well, where this task is a noble task, a humanitarian task of tackling and eradicating Covid-19. This can also be field of worship,” he concluded.
