Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police Gives Social Aid to People Affected by the Pandemic in Mapanget

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - North Sulawesi. Chief of North Sulawesi Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nana Sudjana, directly led the social service event again during the PPKM (Community Activity Restriction Movement) on Wednesday (28/07/2021).

This time, the activity is located on Neighbourhood 2 of Paniki Bawah Subdistrict, Mapanget district, Manado city.

Chief of Regional Police, accompanied by Director of Community Development, Police Grand Commissioner Dumadi, and Chief of PR and Press Division, Jules Abraham Abast, gave the social aid symbolically to the local residents.

Chief of Regional Police said that the aid distribution is a form of care and empathy from the Police towards the people affected economically by the Covid-19 pandemic and PPKM implementation.

"We hope that this given aid could be beneficial and alleviate people's burden for a bit", Chief of Regional Police said.

The similar social services, Chief of Regional Police continues, would be continued in a mobile manner, targeting people in need.

Related to the relatively significant rise of Covid-19 in North Sulawesi and the implementation of Level 3 and 4 PPKM, the Chief of Regional Police encourage the public to adhere to Health Protocols.

"The key is the public obedience to the 5M Health Protocols, which are wearing face masks, washing hands, keeping hands, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility", Chief of Regional Police explains.

Chief of Regional Police added that North Sulawesi Regional Police, together with Armed Forces and Regional Government, keep conducting operational efforts on the ground in order to push back Coronavirus cases.

"Micro-scaled PPKM in village/subdistrict level would be intensified. We are also broadcasting information and intensifying justice operation of Health Protocols", Chief of Regional Police said.

On this occasion, the Chief of Regional Police also appeals to the public to obey the North Sulawesi Governor Circular Letter about Anticipating the Increasing Covid-19 Transmission, mainly in the public mobility restriction and limitation of operational time of business places.

"We will guard the implementation of the North Sulawesi Governor Circular Letter. All for public wellness and health. If people are healthy, pandemic cases going down, then the economy would run properly", Chief of Regional Police concluded
