Tribratanews.polri.go.id - JAKARTA. Commander of the Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto, and Chief of Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, inspected Covid-19 Integrated Isolation Centre Facility (FIT) established by South Sulawesi Provincial Government on Saturday (7/8/2021).
FIT is a centralised isolation centre for South Sulawesi people who tested positive for Coronavirus. In his inspection, Sigit interacted with doctors on duty and patients on treatment.
Sigit emphasises that Isolation Centre (Isoter) is the most effective for self-isolating people who tested positive for Coronavirus. According to Sigit, the facility also protect their families and relatives from the danger of Covid-19 exposure.
"Thank God. So, doctor, please tell the people that Isoter is an excellent choice for the family to avoid Covid-19 transmission in the family or relatives", Sigit said.
Sigit appealed to the public to head straight to Isoter facilities if tested positive for Coronavirus. The people then would be treated fair for self-isolating until recovered from Covid-19.
"If you're tested positive (for Covid-19), go straight to Isoter. This must be broadcasted to the public", Sigit said.
In the interaction, Sigit asked a patient about the conditions of the Isoter facilities during his struggle in fighting Coronavirus.
The woman patient answered that all facilities in the Isoter are excellent and comfortable. She also admitted that she came there on her own initiative.
"Thank God I don't feel bored because the food is great and I feel more healthy. (I came here) because of my own will, and I heard information that there is an isolation centre to go to for Covid patients like me", she said.
Previously, Sigit also interacted with a doctor to ask about the patient's conditions in the facility because people self-isolating there are reported to be healthier.
"Thank God all patients are recovered. One person yesterday showed moderate symptoms, and their saturation level dropped to 91%. We refer them to hospital", the doctor said during presenting development to the Chief of Police.
Sigit asked the doctor to maintain excellent quality and facility's conditions at the isolation centre.
On the same occasion, the Commander of the Armed Forces and Chief of Police gave South Sulawesi Provincial Government aid in the form of an oxygen concentrator from the Indonesian President Joko Widodo to aid the Covid-19 patient treatment.
The FIT programme is a collaboration between stakeholders such as the government agencies, ministries, and state-owned enterprises who have the training building complex such as Sudiang Hajj Dormitory of Ministry of Religious Affairs that has 1,500 beds; BPSDM of South Sulawesi Province; Training Building Complex of Indonesian Audit Board; Training Building Complex of State Electricity Company of Makassar; Education Centre Building of BRI; Building of South Sulawesi branch of LPMP; Puslatbang HMP LAN of South Sulawesi Building; Environment and Forestry Training Building, Makassar; Building of PPSDM Home Affairs Ministry of Makassar Region; PUPR Region VII Makassar Training Building; and BBPKS Region V Makassar Building.
