Chief of Jambi Regional Police, Police Inspector General A Rachmad Wibowo, appreciated measures taken by the Jambi governor, Al Haris, in handling Covid-19 in Jambi province. One of the measures is providing the isolation centre in the Education Quality Assurance Agency (LPMP) Building of Jambi in Telanaipura, Jambi city.
Accompanied by Chief of Operation Bureau, Police Grand Commissioner Feri Handoko, and Chief of Jambi City Departmental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Dover Christian, Chief of Regional Police also inspected the isolation centre condition at the LPMP building, including checking food given to the isolating Covid-19 patients.
"We hope this isolation centre could decrease the risk of family or residential cluster", the Chief of Regional Police said.
Chief of Regional Police also appreciated the health workers at the LPMP Building who have worked professionally, in which all patients have the medical records and given good medicinal treatment and assured food quality, and observed by the health workers from the Raden Mataher Hospital, and secured by Mobile Brigade personnel of Jambi Regional Police. Chief of Regional Police also appeals to the public who tested positive for Covid-19 to go to isolation centres and not self-isolating.
"Until today, just 21 patients are being treated, and 159 beds are still empty and could be utilised for isolation. I also thanked the Head of Jambi Branch of LPMP who has given his facility as the isolation centre", he concluded.
