Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Surabaya. Regional Leaders Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of East Java accompanied the Chief of Indonesian National Police and Commander of the Armed Forces to inspect vaccination for students in Surabaya on Friday (15/10/2021).
Besides, the Chief of the Indonesian National Police and Commander of the Armed Forces also managed to greet the agglomeration regions holding the simultaneous Merdeka vaccination event.
Governor of East Java, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, Commander of 5th/Brawijaya Military District, Armed Forces Major General Suharyanto, and Chief of East Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nico Afinta Karo-Karo, accompany the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces, Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto and Chief of Indonesian National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, in inspecting Merdeka vaccination in Surabaya and other regions conducting vaccination in East Java.
Chief of Indonesian National Police hopes that by this afternoon or tomorrow morning, he could receive a report that the daily target for vaccination could be surpassed.
"It is indeed an achievement for all colleagues to improve the effort to achieve the target of 70% vaccinated population in order to form herd immunity", he hoped.
"This is indeed our attention, so when the public activity started to increase, Covid-19 rate could be controlled. The strategy is how to enforce strict Health Protocols and improving vaccination so that 70% target could be achieved", he continued.
"Then, I also reminded that for the areas with public activities and crowds, please monitor them with the PeduliLindungi application so it could be monitored on who have been vaccinated, who have not, whose have close contact or positive with Covid-19, so further measures such as temporary quarantine before going to further treatments, either in centralised isolation or hospital", Chief of Indonesian National Police advised.
The Chief of Indonesian National Police also appreciated the success of East Java Forkopimda because what they did could be an example for other regions.
"Once again, thank you to all colleagues of the Forkopimda, such as from the province, Madam Governor, Mr Commander of Military District, and Mr Chief of Regional Police who are always cohesive. These efforts should be an example for other regions in doing the same thing. Once again, congratulations. Maintain this achievement, and I hope the expected target could be achieved", the Chief of Indonesian National Police concluded.
