Chief of Indonesia National Police, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has instructed all his staffs to establish PPKM (Community Activity Restriction) posts in people's markets. This is aimed to ensure community's economy continues to run according to health protocols.
In the extension of PPKM Level 4 until August 2, 2021, Government has given leeway to economic center. Among them, people's market is allowed to operate but with strict health protocols.
"All ranks formed PPKM Command Post in the market to anticipate the leeway to economic center,” Sigit said in a written statement, Jakarta, Wednesday (07/28/2021).
Former Chief of Banten Regional Police emphasized that PPKM command post at market will ensure traders and visitors implemented standard health protocols in accordance with the handling of Covid-19 pandemic.
The post, Sigit said, have to implement One Gate System to limit visitor capacity. Then, do a body temperature check at the entrance.
"Preparing the location for washing hands, distributing masks, setting the distance between traders and conducting random checks for antigen swabs," Sigit said.
Not only that, Sigit stated, at the PPKM post in the market, mobile vaccinations were also prepared to accelerate Herd Immunity or group immunity against corona virus.
PPKM command post in the market will also prepare Level 4 PPKM social assistance from Government to people whose economic is most affected.
In implementing PPKM Command Post in the market, Sigit asked his staffs to synergize and communicate with all related parties in its implementation.
"Empowerment of coordinators for supervising health protocols disciplines should involve security officers or associations of business actors," Sigit said.
Tthe establishment of market PPKM post has been active. Until noe, there have been 9,213 posts throughout Indonesia, involved the elements of Indonesia National Armed Forces, Indonesia National Police and volunteers.
