Chief of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police Formed Covid-19 Community

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Kupang. Chief of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, Police Inspector General Lotharia Latif, formed Covid-19 Survivor Community using the tagline "United Against Covid-19" on Thursday (17/6).

The community has 149 members, which is a breakthrough from Chief of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police in encouraging and embracing the Covid-19 survivors to become partners and assisting the Police in fighting Covid-19.

The formation of the community would also be held at all Departmental Police level in East Nusa Tenggara.

The formation ceremony of the Covid-19 survivors was lead by Police Inspector General Lotharia Latif and attended by primary officials of East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, Community Police Officers of Kupang City, and Army Community Officers.

According to the two-star general, the contributions of those Covid-19 survivors are a form of humanitarian concern in helping to save human lives and hope to suppress the Covid-19 death rate.

"During circumstance like today, high solidarity is required between the community", the former Chief of Water and Police Corps of Security Guard Agency of Indonesian National Police said.

The 1988 Graduate of Armed Forces Academy also hopes that Covid-19 survivors adhere to and promote Health Protocols in the community.

"Let us voice out to all to always discipline in wearing a face mask, keeping distance, washing hands, avoiding crowds, and reducing mobility to suppress Covid-19 spread", Police Inspector General Lotharia Latif concludes.
