Chief of East Java Regional Police Together with Commander of Second Fleet Command Accompanied Governor of East Java in Reviewing the Implementation of Independent Vaccination at Islamic Boarding School Sabillurrosyad Gasek

Chief of East Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Nico Afinta Karo-Karo, together with Commander of Fleet Command II Admiral Iwan Isnurwanto accompanying Governor of East Java Khofifah Indar Parawansa, monitored the implementation of Merdeka vaccination program at Islamic boarding school Sabillurrosyad Islamic Boarding School, Gasek, Malang, Saturday (08/07/2021).

Also present in the group were the Head of Experts Group of Military Area Command V Brawijaya, Air Force Field Commander Abd Rahman Saleh Malang, Regional Secretary of East Java Province, High Rank Officers of East Java Regional Police and the Chiefs of Resort Police throughout Greater Malang, as well as Regional Leader Communication Forum of Malang.

The implementation of the Independent Vaccination targeted Islamic boarding school administrators and students, with 425 doses of vaccine and 9 personnels from Malang City Resort Police as vaccinators.

In this activity, Chief of East Java Regional Police also provided 1 ton of rice and nine-basic-needs and 3000 pieces of masks; and provided assistance 250 Al-Quran for Santri (students) which were handed over to the administrators and representatives of students at Sabillurrosyad Gasek Islamic Boarding School, Malang City.

The caretaker of Sabilurrosyad Islamic Boarding School, KH Marzuqi Mustamar, who is also chairpeson of East Java Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Management (PWNU) expressed his gratitude, for having received the assistance. He expected it could be useful. To the people of East Java from any class, any religion, any ethnicity, any sect, let's together support government's vaccination program, let's make vaccination success, let's support mass vaccination, with vaccines, God willing, we protect ourselves too, protect others too. Vaccines are halal and safe, even Kyai who are more pious want to be vaccinated, Indonesian and international Ulama have fatwa on vaccines to be safe, halal, and permissible.
