Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi said this mass vaccination is part of Free Vaccine Movement activity.
Implementation of Candi Free Vaccination Movement held on August 5, 2021, targeting community, organizations, students, workers, football fans, students and online motorcycle taxis. Furthermore, Islamic boarding school for persons with disabilities and employees.
"In this activity, Central Java Regional Police will hold Merdeka Candi Vaccine simultaneously with target of 1,348,000 vaccines, with each Resort Police having minimum of 40,00 vaccines per day," Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi explained at Central Java Regional Police Headquarter, Thursday, (08/04/21).
Chief of Central Java Regional Police explained Candi Free Vaccine Movement would be attended directly by Chief of Indonesia National Police and the Commander of Indonesia National Armed Forces.
" Merdeka Candi Vaccination is vaccination strategy that will be implemented to celebrate our Independence Day August 17. The target is 4,000 vaccines per day and on August 17th for the first dose followed by the second dose. Of course, this is the spirit that I appreciate," the two-star general said.
Police Inspector General. Ahmad Luthfi added the strategy for accelerating vaccination must touch all levels of society up to RT/RW level. Therefore, it is necessary to have strong cohesiveness and organizing from all relevant stakeholders.
