Tribratanews.polri.go.id -Serang. The implementation of the Village Head Election in the Banten Regional Police jurisdiction will take place in Pandeglang Regency on Sunday, October 17, 2021, which is the voting stage.
Village Head Election will be held in 206 villages, spread over 32 sub-districts and 1,263 polling stations with a reasonably wide area.
Chief of Banten Regional Police, Police Inspector General Rudy Heriyanto said that the personnel who carried out security at the Voting place (TPS) did not carry firearms and were securing according to the applicable regulations.
"The committee is asked to provide health care facilities such as places to wash hands, masks and plastic gloves so that the Village Head Election does not generate new clusters of Covid-19," said Chief of Banten Regional Police Rudy Heriyanto, Friday (15/10)
Rudy Heriyanto said that the Chief of Pandeglang Departemental Police would coordinate with the Pandeglang Regency Health Office to open vaccine outlets at the Voting place (TPS) to be voters vaccinated after exercising their voting rights.
"In addition to the Health Protocol, it must be complete. After the vote, random swabs must be carried out for candidates for village heads, committees, and voters," said Chief of Banten Regional Police Rudy Heriyanto.
Meanwhile, Head of Operations Bureau of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner A. Roemtaat, said the implementation of the Village Head Election for potential vulnerabilities is quite high, it needs to be anticipated so as not to disturb the current conduciveness, including the potential emergence of new clusters of Covid-19 and natural disaster contingencies.
"In the implementation of the Village Head Election there are 26 vulnerable villages spread across the Districts of Menes, Saketi, Cisata, Pagelaran, Patia, Sukaresmi, Panimbang, Kadu Hejo, Mandalawangi, Picung, Bojong and Sindangresmi," said Head of Operations Bureau of Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner A. Roemtaat.
He explained that in securing Voting place (TPS), there were Operations Control Assistance (BKO) assignments from the Patrol Unit Directorate of Banten Regional Police as many as 2 Company Level Unit (SSK), Anti Anarchist Brigadier Corps Mobile Kelapa Dua 4 Company Level Unit (SSK), Mobile Brigadier of Banten Regional Police as many as 2 Company Level Unit (SSK) and including Operations Control Assistance (BKO) from the Indonesian National Armed Forces element as many as 144 personnel, a total of 4,189 personnel for Voting place (TPS) and mobile pam officers.
"Security will be assigned to 5 zones, namely zone I in Kadu Hejo, zone II in Menes, zone III in Patia, zone IV in Picung and zone V in Panimbang," said the Chief of Banten Regional Police.
Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations Division of the Banten Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Shinto Silitonga, explained that the security for the Pandeglang Village Head Election would use an overestimated pattern. Therefore, the Chief of Banten Regional Police also ordered the High-Rank Executives of Banten Regional Police to go down to the vulnerable villages and secure the Village Head Election in the vulnerable villages.
