Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Pangkal Pinang. Chief of Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police, Police Inspector General Anang Syarif Hidayat, awarded three subdistricts in Pangkal Pinang for their 100% vaccination achievement on Tuesday (2/11/2021).
The three subdistricts being awarded are Pasar Padi, Batu Intan, and Bintang subdistricts.
Besides the subdistrict office, the Chief of Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police, who was accompanied by the Mayor, Maulan Akil, also awarded the Community Army and Police Unit who have helped to make the vaccination in those subdistricts a success.
"We awarded the subdistricts with a 100% vaccination rate. The award itself is not worthy of their hard work of subdistrict office and Community Army and Police Unit for the last one year in helping and motivated people during the Covid-19 pandemic", Chief of Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police said.
The two-star general is also proud of the 75% vaccination rate achieved in Pangkal Pinang city.
"I am really proud that the vaccination rate of Pangkal Pinang city is above 75%. As the provincial capital, this must be taken as an example for other regencies on how to move people so that they are willing to get vaccinated", Chief of Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police said.
Chief of Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police hoped that, by the end of November 2021, the vaccination rate in Pangkal Pinang city would be 100%.
"I hope this award could motivate other subdistricts. I think by the end of the year, we could finish vaccination in Pangkal Pinang city. Keep the gas pedal pushed and wholeheartedly work for the society", the Chief of Bangka Belitung Islands Regional Police concluded.
