Central Kalimantan Police Launches Quell Crime Public Service Application Isen Mulang

The Central Kalimantan Regional Police has launched an Android-based public service application that aims to make it easier for the public to make complaints reports and build public participation related to information on the existence of the People's Wanted List (DPO).

The launch of this application was carried out directly by the Central Kalimantan Police Chief, Pol. General Inspector Dr. Dedi Prasetyo and attended by the Deputy Governor of Central Kalimantan, H Edy Pratowo along with elements of the Central Kalimantan Forkopimda at the Arya Dharma Hall of the Central Kalimantan Police Headquarters, Tuesday, (06/22/21).

In his speech, the Chief of Central Kalimantan Police, Pol. General Inspector Dr. Dedi Prasetyo said, along with the development of technology and informatics which has an impact on the magnitude of public demand for improving government and private services and performance, innovation and strategic breakthroughs are needed by utilizing the latest information technology.

"Currently it has been realized by the Regional Police's General Crime Investigation Directorate of Central Kalimantan by providing an android-based service application, namely Quell Crime Isen Mulang (QCIM)," explained Two Star General.

This application is an implementation of the National Police Chief's priority program known as PRESISI which means predictive, accountable and fair transparency, especially program 23, namely the law enforcement process that fulfills the community's sense of justice and answers the expectations of the Central Kalimantan community for easy and efficient police services, especially in the pandemic era of Covid-19.

In the same place, the Central Kalimantan Police's Directorate of General Crime Investigation, Pol. Grand Commissioner Budi Heriyanto explained that there are several advantages of the "QCIM" application, among others, the public can report the cases they face from the address concerned, then the operator will verify the feasibility of the report.


Every report that is entered and is eligible for fingerprinting will be given proof of receipt of the report which will be delivered to the reporter's address, the online SP2HP version of the EMP can only be accessed if the report has been in the form of LP, but with the QCIM" application, reports that have not been in the form of LP can also be given SP2HP (SP2HP LIDIK)," said Pol. Grand Commissioner Budi Heriyanto.

The Chairman of General Crime Investigation at Central Kalimantan Regional Police said that if the public saw and found a wanted list (DPO) they could convey their information to investigators simply by "CLICKING DPO INFORMATION" and the confidentiality of the reporter was maintained.
