The Central Java Police held a Booster Vaccination shot at the Tak Kak Sie Temple during the Chinese New Year celebrations. The Booster Vaccination program is part of an effort to help the government accelerate the third vaccination program.
Head of the Health Department of the Central Java Police, Commissioner Dr. dr. Sumy Hastry Purwanti, DFM, Sp.F. was greeted by the Tri Darma people with great spectacle by going to the temple. Tak Kak Sie Temple is one of the largest temples in the city of Semarang which is often visited by people to pray.
Commissioner Dr. dr. Sumy Hastry Purwanti, DFM, Sp.F., explained that in a momentum like this we can use it to accelerate the third dose vaccination program to the community.
The Head of Dokkes Polda Central Java explained that to get a booster vaccination program, you must meet the requirements by receiving a second vaccination at least 6 months prior.
"We from the Central Java Health Doctors provide help with vaccine boosters for those who come to this area. And we prepare up to a thousand doses for the equivalent of a thousand people. The health workers we have prepared are around 60 Bid Dokkes, and assisted by the Central Java Walubi. We got a fairly large quota of Astra Zeneca vaccine from the provincial Health Service, so we are pursuing a booster vaccine for the people of Semarang City," explained the Head of the Central Java Police Dokkes.
Commissioner Dr. dr. Sumy Hastry Purwanti, DFM, Sp.F., added that his team will continue to seek other public hotspots to accelerate the vaccination program. So, people can get the third dose or booster vaccine faster and easier.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Central Java Walubi DPD added that the implementation of the booster vaccination carried out by the Central Java Regional Police should be commended. It is hoped that the community will be helped by the booster vaccination which is located not far from home.
