Caring the Flood Victims in Katingan, Central Kalimantan Regional Police Established Field Kitchen

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Palangkaraya. As a form of care to all flood victims in the Katingan regency, Central Kalimantan Regional Police established a field kitchen serving ready-to-eat foods.

"These 300 food portions are ready-to-eat food is available for the people affected by the flood every day, so they feel our presence and attention in the middle of the flood", Chief of PR and Press of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Kismanto Eko Saputro, on Monday.

Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, accompanied by Katigan regent, Sakariyas, and several Primary Officials of Central Kalimantan Regional Police, inspected the field kitchen officers preparing the ready to eat food. Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police wanted to ensure that his personnel could help flood victims in the said regency.

During the occasion, the Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police also gave 100 basic necessities packages, 100 boxes of instant noodles, and 50 boxes of noodle-in-glass packages.

Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police hoped that the aids could be beneficial in the middle of the flood situation and in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic that is not over yet.

"We hope these aids could benefit those who affected by the flood in Katingan regency", Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police said. Chief of PR and Press of Central Kalimantan Regional Police said that as a form of care of the leaders to the personnel in the field kitchen, Chief of Central Kalimantan Regional Police also gave ten boxes of mineral water, nine boxes of milk, and five boxes of fruit drink and cookies.

"I hope this field kitchen could help people affected by the flood in Katingan regency in their daily needs, mainly ready to eat food", Chief of PR and Press of Central Kalimantan Regional Police said.

Not only that, but the Regional Police also deployed a Search and Rescue team to help evacuate people whose houses were submerged in the water and had to be evacuated. The Police personnel conducted it to provide safety to people affected by the flood that is happening in Central Kalimantan.
