Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman explained that one of the evacuation post for victims of the Cianjur earthquake, which is at Sirnagalih Village, Cilaku District, was safe even though the location was near the Pasirsembung Final Disposal Site (TPA).
“Everything is relatively safe and this location is also based on the Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency reccomendation,” said Cianjur Regent, quoted from republika.co.id, Thursday (12/1).
The government of Cianjur Regency is currently preparing three evacuation posts for people affected by the earthquake in Cianjur Regency, namely in Sirnagalih, Mande, and Pacet.
The Regent of Cianjur further explained that the evacuation post in Sirnagalih had been studied by the BMKG and currently a cut and field is being carried out or land leveling.
