inp.polri.go.id - Deliserdang. The Brimob Unit of the North Sumatra Police (Polda Sumut) escorted 389,300 doses of Astrazeneca Vaccine that arrived at Kualanamu Airport, Deliserdang Regency, Tuesday (8/2/22).
Head of the Operations Unit (Kabag Ops) Polda Sumut Sat Brimob, Commissioner Heriyono, said that the central government had again sent hundreds of thousands of doses of Astrazeneca vaccine to North Sumatra. The vaccine will later be distributed across North Sumatra.
"The vaccine that arrived was Astrazeneca and was immediately escorted by Brimob starting from the KNIA Airport Cargo Terminal to the Pharmacy Warehouse of the Health Office of North Sumatra Province, Jalan MH. Yamin Medan," said Kabag Ops.
"As for the vaccine escort, today we are deploying 1 squad of Brimob personnel from Polda Sumut, led by Kanit II Bantis Gegana Detachment AKP Sandro Situngkir, S.H.," explained Kabag Ops.
Kabag Ops Polda Sumut Sat Brimob reported that the escort ran safely and smoothly. In securing the vaccine, it involved personnel from Koramil 23/BRG, personnel from the Kualanamu Airport Regional Police, PJR North Sumatra Police, and Deliserdang Police.
"We handed over the vaccine to the Health Service, which was received directly by Damhuri as the staff of the Pharmacy Warehouse Management of the North Sumatra," concluded the Kabag Ops Polda Sumut Sat Brimob.
