Ranks of the Bogor Departemental Police have succeeded in dismantling the storage of shabu dealers in the interior of Cibungbulang District, Bogor Regency, West Java. During the raid, the police found 5 kilograms of crystal methamphetamine packaged in a tea package from China, the Guanyinwang brand, worth the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) 6 billion.
"There are seven cases that we have revealed, methamphetamine and marijuana with nine suspects with 5.42 kilograms and 36.75 grams of marijuana," explained Chief of Bogor Departemental Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Harun.
Chief of Departemental Police said that of the nine suspects, one case was IH (31 years old), who was arrested in a rented house in the Cibungbulang sub-district. The suspect found 106 grams of methamphetamine and five green plastic wrappers with the Guanyinwang Tea brand.
"It contains methamphetamine weighing 5.24 kilograms each one kilogram," said the Chief of Departemental Police.
Chief of Bogor Departemental Police added that the Bogor Departemental Police carried out surveillance and arrests with the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police in disclosing this case. From the investigation results, the perpetrator IH got the methamphetamine from the perpetrator with the initials RC.
"This is still on our hands. First, the perpetrators of IH are directed to take goods in the Bekasi area. Then IH was circulated to the Bogor City area and in the Bogor area," explained the Chief of Departemental Police.
From the distribution results, IH received a commission for every IDR 10 million per kilogram taken from suspect RC. IH has been circulating methamphetamine for the past year. Besides IH, RC has another dealer with the initials HD (23 years) who was arrested in the Cibinong area, Bogor Regency. HD himself gets a salary of IDR 50 thousand per gram.
“Because this HD doesn't work. It has been a year as a meth courier," added the Chief of Departemental Police.
The Chief of Departemental Police also said that the suspects were subject to Article 114 paragraph 2 and 112 paragraph 2 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics with a maximum threat of life and a minimum imprisonment of 5 years to 20 years with a fine of one to IDR 10 billion.
Meanwhile, the Head of Drug Unit of Bogor Departemental Police, Police Commissioner Attendant Eka Candra Mulyana, said the main perpetrator, who is still at large, had the initials RC himself, who sent the couriers. Instructions are carried out via HP communications and shipping maps. RC itself is suspected to be part of an international network.
"This is an international network that many find like this with Guanyinwang tea packaging. As a result, many arrests have been made from the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan Police and other Regional Police for packaging like this Chinese tea packaging," explained the Head of Drug Unit.
The courier actor himself plays a role only by sticking to the main actor's point. The Head of Drug Unit estimated that the confiscated evidence was worth around IDR 6 billion.
"The courier suspects themselves do not know the whereabouts of the main perpetrators because they have never met. Therefore, evidence of six kilograms is approximately six billion," added the Head of Drug Unit.
