Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Papua. The Binmas Noken (Noken Community Development Unit) of Papua, mainly in Mappi, visited community figure of Mappi, mainly at the house of Mr Theodorus Kamakaimu at Bandara Kepi street, Obaa district, Mappi regency.
The activity conducted on Sunday, August 15, 2021, is in order to commemorate the 76th Indonesian independence anniversary. Binmas Noken, led by Police Inspector 1st Class Umar Riby and his two personnel, Police Chief Brigadier I Nengah and Police Brigadier Nathan, went to Mr Theodorus's house to greet the community in Okhomkaw Complex and encourage them to maintain security in the Mappi regency.
During the visit, Police appealed to Mr Theodorus as the elder of Okhomkaw Complex to remind the people to support Armed Forces-Police activities to maintain public security and order situation and participate in commemorating Indonesian independence day.
The visit ended with the Police giving contact facilities as gratitude to Mr Theodorus because he has welcomed and assisted the Police in maintaining public security and order situations in Mappi, especially in Okhomkaw Complex.
At the end of the visit, Mr Theodorus thanked and shared positive perspectives. "Even though the body has its limit, but they should be beneficial to others", he said. Mr Theodorus was also grateful for the visit from the Police, in this context, Binmas Noken, and would always support Police's activity in maintaining order and safety in the Mappi regency.
