Bhayangkara Mural Festival 2021 Central Java Level, Chief of Regional Police Affirms Indonesian National Police Ready to Accept Public Input

Chief of Central Java Regional Police, Police Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi, attended the Bhayangkara Mural Festival in the Regional Police Headquarters courtyard, also attended by the Governor of Central Java, High-Rank Executives and several media workers, Saturday (30/10/21).

The Chief of Regional Polic revealed that the public was given broad freedom to express their aspirations or critique the Indonesian National Police institution. However, they were still within the corridor and supported by data. Media to convey aspirational criticism messages can be anything, including through mural images.

Police Inspector-General Ahmad Luthfi said that the Indonesian National Police institution is not anti-critical and is ready to accept input from the public. Amid the current era of information disclosure and freedom of expression, everyone can submit input or criticism and need to be reminded. However, when submitting a complaint, it must still be following existing facts and data.

The Two-Stars General explained that every input and criticism from the public would be accommodated and listened to for future improvements. “I am the Chief of the Regional Police, as the 13th program Chief of the Indonesian National Police prioritizes media management. I hope that the Indonesian National Police are not anti-criticism, meaning that anyone in the community can constructively express criticism to the Indonesian National Police because the surrounding community determines the size of the Indonesian National Police. The bigger the Indonesian National Police, the greater the community's contribution," explained the Chief of Regional Police.

The Chief of Regional Police also explained that the mural competition, held at the Central Java Regional Police level and attended by 35 Departemental Police/City Police throughout Central Java, facilitated its ranks to art workers. Especially to convey a moral message and constructive criticism of the Indonesian National Police institution.

Meanwhile, Governor Ganjar Pranowo supports the efforts of the Central Java Regional Police. However, they are open to receiving input and criticism from the public because the criticism that comes from the community is a form of love for the Indonesian National Police.
