Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Mataram. West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police held a vaccination event for 3,000 Islamic boarding school (Pesantren/Pondok Pesantren) students in several locations. Besides, Police also distribute 3 tons of basic necessities to several Pesantrens.
Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, Police Inspector General Mohammad Iqbal, said that the event commemorates the peak of 30 years of service of the Class of 1991 of Police Academy, Bharadaksa Battalion.
"This is the peak day of 30 years of Class of 1991 of Police Academy in serving the country", Iqbal said when inspecting mass vaccination and social aid distribution in Pondok Pesantren NW Pancor, Selong, East Lombok, on Sunday (1/8/2021).
Pondok Pesantrens visited by the Chief of Regional Police are Pondok Pesantren Nahdlatul Wathan Diniyah Islamiyah in Pancor, East Lombok; Pondok Pesantren Nahdlatul Wathan in Anjani, East Lombok; Pondok Pesantren Abu Hurairah in Mataram City, and Pondok Pesantren Manhalul Ma'arif, Darek, Central Lombok.
"The mass vaccination and basic necessities distribution activities are already underway since last Monday. Today is the peak day", Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police said.
Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, together with the main team, visited Pondok Pesantren Nahdlatul Wathan Diniyah Islamiyah and Pondok Pesantren Nahdlatul Wathan. And then, Deputy Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, Brigadier General Ruslan Aspan, together with the second team, visited Pondok Pesantren Abu Hurairah. The third team, led by Regional Superintendent of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police, Grand Commissioner Djoko Hari Utomo, visited Pondok Pesantren Manhalul Ma'arif Dalek. "The commemoration of Class of 1991 of Police Academy's 30 years of service is filled with social activities. We hope that God could bless our activities", Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police said.
On the way to the vaccination and aid distribution location, Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police with Vice Regent of East Lombok, H Rumaksi, explained that those activities are run not only in West Nusa Tenggara but also across Indonesia.
"The social service of mass vaccination and social aid distribution is conducted by all of Class of 1991 of Police Academy across the archipelago. I hope these full week activities could benefit people affected by the pandemic", Chief of West Nusa Tenggara Regional Police said.
Mass vaccination and social aid distribution in commemorating 30 years of service of Bharadaksa in West Nusa Tenggara has been running since Monday (26/7). Every day, thousands of vaccines and basic necessities packages were distributed to The Land of 1000 Mosques.
This activity targets people, health workers, subdistrict heads, and Community Police and Armed Forces Units. The peak of the Bharadaksa's 30 years of service was concluded by togetherness in Pondok Pesantrens.
