Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Palangkaraya. In breaking the chain of spread of Covid-19, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police again held a mass vaccination activity which took place in the Langkai Village, Pahandut District, Palangka Raya City, Wednesday (07/28/2021).
Vaccination is directly monitored by the Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Pol. General Inspector Dedi Prasetyo, accompanied by the Deputy Chief of Police, Brigadier General Pol. Ida Oetari Poernamasasi, and a number of key local Regional Police officials.
In addition to carrying out vaccinations, the Central Kalimantan Regional Police also carried out social services by distributing 300 food packages and 300 boxes of masks to the public as well as vitamin packages to health workers.
The Central Kalimantan Regional Police Chief through the Head of PR, Pol. Grand Commissioner Eko Saputro, said that in carrying out the Covid-19 vaccination today, his party is targeting 300 residents to be vaccinated.
"Hopefully, with the implementation of the vaccine this time, it can accelerate the formation of herd immunity or group immunity so that the spread of Covid-19 in Central Kalimantan can be suppressed to a minimum," explained the Head of Public Relations.
