Bengkulu Regional Police Holds Merdeka Vaccination Raid in Bengkulu City

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bengkulu. The Bengkulu Regional Police once again held Merdeka Vaccination attack to celebrate the 76th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia in 2021 at the Semarak Sawah Lebar Stadium, Bengkulu City, Friday (13/08/21).

The Chief Deputy of Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Brigadier General Hari Prasodjo, The Directorate of Traffic Security of Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Sumardji, High Rank Executives of Bengkulu Regional Police and representatives from Land Transport Organization of Bengkulu.

This activity was initiated by The Directorate of Traffic Security of Bengkulu Regional Police and aimed at transportation crews, online motorcycle taxis, and public transport drivers.

The Chief of Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Inspector General Guntur Setyanto, conducting a vaccination review, said that this activity maximises the vaccinations that the central government has provided.

“While commemorating our Independence Day, The Directorate of Traffic Security, together with the Land Transport Organization, initiated the vaccination. This is a form of concern and cooperation between the community and the National Police to resolve the Covid-19 pandemic jointly quickly," explained The Chief of Bengkulu Regional Police.

Although vaccination is prioritized for bus, travel and online motorcycle taxi drivers, the committee also serves the surrounding community to implement the vaccine.

The Chief of Bengkulu Regional Police hopes that all Bengkulu people can immediately have herd immunity in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
