Bengkulu Regional Police Held Vaccination Acceleration in Eight Locations

Tribratanews.polri.go.id - Bengkulu. The effort on public health acceleration keeps being conducted by the Bengkulu Regional Police and the personnel. Today, (06/09/21), the Directorate of Water Police of Bengkulu Regional Police, together with the Legal Agency of Bengkulu Regional Police, held the Merdeka vaccination programme again to 200 female students of Hidayatul Qomariah Islamic Boarding School in Padang Serai subdistrict, Kampung Melayu district, Bengkulu city.

Director of Water Police of Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Erick Sartani Marbun, through the Chief of Operations Agency of the Directorate of Water Police of Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Hilal Najmi, when interviewed during the vaccination event, said that the target of the two-days vaccination event starting Monday to Tuesday is 300 people.

"We are using the Sinovac vaccine. Besides the female students, this event also opens for the public, so unvaccinated people are welcomed here", Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Hilal Najmi said.

The Chief of Operations Agency said that on this vaccination event, the Police involves four vaccinators and eighteen medical workers from the Medicine and Health Agency of Bengkulu Regional Police.

"I hope that this mass vaccination could accelerate the realisation of public health during this pandemic", Chief of Operations Agency of the Directorate of Water Police of Bengkulu Regional Police said.

Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Hilal Najmi also said that the vaccination event held by Police in the Islamic Boarding School and places of worship are conducted simultaneously across Indonesia to accelerate public health during the pandemic so that the 2021 National Economic Recovery could be materialised.

On the other hand, Chief of PR and Press of Bengkulu Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Sudarno, when interviewed in his office, confirm the simultaneous vaccination event across Bengkulu province held by Bengkulu Regional Police and the personnel.

"On today, there are eight vaccination locations such as Hidayatullah Mubtadiin, Hidayatul Qomariyah, Ja-Alhaq, Pancasila, and At-Taqwa Islamic Boarding School, Bengkulu 2 Public Senior High School, and Santo Yohanes Church", Chief of PR and Press of Bengkulu Regional Police said.

Chief of PR and Press of Bengkulu Regional Police added that, even though being held in Islamic Boarding Schools and places of worship, the vaccination is also open for the unvaccinated public.

"Please come for the ones who have not vaccinated yet and are 18 years old or older", Chief of PR and Press of Bengkulu Regional Police concluded.
